![]() They basically used the Spirit Bomb from Dragonball Z for that one. Millenniummon and another evil Digimon named Negamon were pretty much the Big Bads of that season so taking out Millenniummon wasn't actually the end of the story. ![]() The second one is basically the end of the final battle between the DigiDestined and ZeedMillenniummon. They ended up having to do that themselves after that clip ended. Except for the fact that killing the evil Digimon, Argomon, wasn't enough to stop the nuke in this one. The first one is the end of what's basically the remake's version of the battle with Diaboramon from Digimon the Movie. RONIN: thanks a lot, ill get to animating him and learning smoe more as soon as i can, i am trying to expand my horizons and try and better my skills so that when i reach a point where i want to tackle a big project, i can do it efficiently.WarGrowlmon18 Oh yeah!!! Here's a few of great clips from it:, and. i think i modelled the shorts so he can bend at the knees, hes in normal stance right now, so when hes rigged it should look better when he starts moving =) trying to get it just right to the drawn character, and still not make him look like he was having a bad hair day in a snow storm was a good learning experience. Maybe next time i make a character like this ill spend more time on detials, i think i wanted to try a character with as little as possible, usually i get caught in detail heheh.Ĭekuhnen: thanks you very much, heh, i think the hair alone took me about as long to model as 2/3 of the rest of the model >_<. Thanks very much for the replies, unfortunately i havnt done much more on him besides rigging, i have been working way too much and working on my film.ĭark Prince: thanks for the compliment, i too dont watch it, besides those couple of episodes when im having breakfast (Neon Genesis, Cowboy Bebop, that is more my usual style), but looking around for an anime style character to make that was cuter then what ive done before, this one took my fancy =)ĭittohead: AO and an area light, to get his skin how i wanted it though i had to do some tricky shaders, so im gonna work on that to get the shadowing right =). Thanks for the support, i am glad that it came out ok, i had never attempted something like this before 8)) (i just got home from work, so im rigging him now, whilst falling asleep at my desk ) So, i decided to just work on the character, finally animate a bit to get some knowledge in and then once im done with characters i usually have the freedom to add them into a scene. Hippie: blush I am aiming to put him in a scene, but using this as a study of a different type of character to what ive done previously, adding a scene so soon would completely stray my focus from the character, and too much fiddling would cause time loss. So, rather then using edge or something ismilar, which made it way too drawn looking, i chose to just add a 2nd material to some objects and trace some bold black lines, making it more stylistic then functional (when is art ever functional in a final render heheh) Marty_D: thanks very much, the black line idea hit me just before i finished him, it didnt seem to have as much contrast in a render as the actual anime character, and amazingly it didnt hit me for a little while that it was the black trace lines making the character bold, since i tried to challenge myself to create anime in 3d i decided to try and mimic, just enough, the basic lines of the drawing and convert it to cg. ![]() Hey thanks for the great words guys luckily with my new job i have more time to juggle, so im finding more and more time to blend (though not as much as a year or 2 ago -_-)
